Contract at an end? Steering clear of O2 like the plague? Try these on for size...
Vodafone UK has today announced the immediate availability of a trio of much anticipated handsets: the Sony Ericsson Satio, HTC Tattoo and LG GM750. The Tattoo and GM750 are available free on two year, £25pm monthly contracts, the Satio is free for £10 more per month over the same timeframe. You also receive another 300 minutes per month if you buy online (duck and cover shop staff).

So what do you get? In the case of the GM750, that'll be a 3in resistive touchscreen display, HSDPA, WiFi, GPS, a 5MP camera with LED flash and Windows Mobile 6.5. If Android is more your thing (I'd be with you there), then the Tattoo has a 2.8in touchscreen display (also sadly resistive to cut costs), WiFi, GPS and 3.2MP camera and interchangeable backs ('Tattoos'). Lastly the Satio looks the best on paper, but does a have a few shortcomings with the 3.5in touchscreen also being resistive, internal memory just 128MB and the 12.1MP camera resolution being utterly pointless. Still, you will find HSDPA, WiFi, GPS and the new Symbian Foundation OS which looks quite swanky.

Predictions? The Tattoo will do very well, the GM750 will do what it says on the tin and the Satio will underwhelm...
